In this talk, Mar­cus describes the pro­cess in which min­er­al car­bon­a­tion can assist in con­trolling cli­mate change.


Mar­cus Dawe is based in Can­ber­ra, Aus­tralia and focuses his activ­it­ies on devel­op­ing and sup­port­ing emer­ging tech­no­lo­gies that provide the innov­a­tion edge for Aus­tralia. He employs pas­sion and strategy for the ven­tures he leads. Mar­cus is a seri­al entre­pren­eur and has had suc­cess with his many of his Can­ber­ra-based ven­tures includ­ing EDIME Inter­net Agency and Revolu­tion CD.

His interests range from cli­mate change tech­no­logy, intel­li­gence and cre­ativ­ity research, advanced mater­i­als, cloud soft­ware devel­op­ment, ment­or­ing youth and pro­mot­ing Can­ber­ra as a ‘Glob­al Vil­lage’  which he con­ducts through his vari­ous ven­tures and com­pan­ies includ­ing not-for-profit entit­ies. He is the CEO of Green­Mag Group and Min­er­al Car­bon­a­tion Inter­na­tion­al (MCi) which has won Fed­er­al and NSW Gov­ern­ment fund­ing to pilot CO2 stor­age tech­no­logy.
