David Lindberg

Money transformation thinker

David Lindberg argues that we are only at the beginning of a transformation with our relationship with money – resulting in changes to every industry on earth.

In this talk at TEDxCanberra 2012, he postulates on what that future might be, looking at empowerment, retail, who owns trade, and even the future or transnational crime in a cashless society. The future envisioned in Lindberg’s talk may be closer than you think!

David Lindberg is at the forefront of driving change in the banking and payments industry, and enabling customers  to change the way they bank and pay for just about everything. With an extensive international background in strategy and marketing, David is now leading a major change at Australia’s largest bank.

David has been a Partner at the prestigious management consultancy First Manhattan Consulting Group in New York, has been a Managing Director of Strategy and Marketing at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ), and is currently the Executive General Manager of Credit Cards, Payments, and Consumer Strategy at Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
