Sam Perry works with some of Australia’s most dis­ad­van­taged — our indige­nous com­mu­nity — focussing on get­ting them through school and into fur­ther education.


Why you should lis­ten to him

At 25, Sam Perry is AIME’s Pro­gram and Oper­a­tions Direc­tor. In 2011 he will over­see a pro­gram that part­ners 1000 uni­ver­sity stu­dents and 1000 Indige­nous high school stu­dents in a one-on-one men­tor­ing rela­tion­ship, across the East Coast of Australia.

Work­ing along­side AIME CEO and 2010 NSW Young Aus­tralian of the Year Jack Man­ning Ban­croft, Sam orches­trates the deliv­ery of a peer dri­ven move­ment that sees Indige­nous and non Indige­nous Aus­tralians in a shared learn­ing environment.
