TEDxCanberra is looking for very short films

TEDxCanberra is looking for short films to show at our big event on September 7. These very short films will be played during the day to enrich the program as ‘palate cleansers’ for the attendee’s brains.

Not sure what this means? Here are some of the films played during TEDxSydney earlier this year.

film by popturfdotcomWe are looking for films that are:

  • funny, thought provoking, beautiful

  • about 60 to 90 seconds in length

  • produced in HD 1080p

We’ll be selecting about five films and we’ll give a seat at the event to the producer of each film we show.

We’d be happy to see concepts or storyboards before you begin production – but production responsibility, and final edit remains with the film producer. The film producer also retains all the rights to the film, though you’ll need to provide permission for us to show it on the day, stream it to viewers online and upload it to our YouTube channel after the event.

For more information, you can contact Gavin Tapp at gavin@tedxcanberra.org.

The closing date for your submission is 15 August 2013.
